The Life of the Party: Enrichment Opportunities

Through the vibrant Life Enrichment program at Evergreen Place Assisted Living of Champaign, we offer opportunities for our residents to stay engaged by way of social, educational, and cultural programming. Each activity is designed to specifically meet the interests, needs, and abilities of our residents.

During this extraordinary time, we’ve gotten extra creative, while still maintaining the integrity of our infection prevention and protocols:

• Sharing resident’s phone numbers with each other to remain socially connected
• Live entertainment outside
• Opportunities for safe escorts to the courtyard
• Fishing on the pond
• Teaching our residents to stay connected through Facebook, Zoom, or Facetime
• Morning Stretch – a 30-minute cardio workout all done from a seated position to remain active.
• Planting vegetable gardens and flower gardens
• Men’s group brings our gents together for socialization and interesting topics and more.

And just like our so many other services and amenities available at Evergreen Place, our residents choose how their day unfolds, depending on personal preference. There are many opportunities available!
