The news we have been waiting for has arrived! Walgreens has confirmed our upcoming vaccination dates. The first Pfizer vaccination dose will be administered to consenting residents and staff members on Thursday, February 4. The second dose will be Friday, February 26. For those who may be new to the community after February 4, there is an extra hold date on March 19. We intend to use both the community center at Evergreen Place and the winter garden at Legacy to host the pharmacists who will conduct the clinic. Our team members will escort consenting residents, organized by apartment location, to and from each area between 11 am – 2 pm. We are excited and plan to celebrate this day with a fun ‘Rosie the Riveter’ theme… WE CAN DO IT! Look for photos on our Facebook page too!
In the meantime, we are working diligently to keep our beautiful campus COVID safe, including using the SteriMist ionized Hydrogen Peroxide (iHP) system. All community spaces and high-touch areas like the dining room, community center, library, hallways and railings, elevators, public restrooms, etc., are sanitized weekly.
