Life Unrehearsed uniquely blends multiple approaches to create an atmosphere where seniors can thrive; it allows life for those with memory care issues to unfold with daily happiness and joy.

Our philosophy combines gentle structure and proven approaches with compassionate, flexible care. Daily life involves mental workouts to stay sharp, physical activity to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s and related diseases, opportunities to contribute to the community which provides purpose, ongoing interactions and outings. These are combined using person-centered programs that honor each individual by focusing on their life story, interests and skills. Our desire with the Life Unrehearsed® philosophy is to meet your loved ones in their moment, promoting positive interactions and daily success.

This daily journey offers a gentle structure in which a number of programs are available throughout the day. These activities are designed to maintain the residents’ abilities, encourage the use of their skills and create a sense of security and belonging.

• Mental workouts energize minds and creativity through games, discussion and reminiscing exercises.
• Physical activity is encouraged through walking programs, dancing, yoga and group exercise classes.
• Contribution opportunities provide residents of The Legacy the chance to extend a hand in purposeful projects with which they are familiar, including setting the table, vacuuming, raking, gardening and folding laundry.
• Person-centered programs are specific to each senior’s life story, personal interests and skills so that they can partake in positive, intentional interactions.
• Outings and trips are organized throughout the month with our team members and volunteers. These include visits to museums, dining out, seeing concerts, going fishing and attending cultural events.
