Join us as we travel back in time and experience a Party for the Ages this September! We’ll be celebrating different decades with music, decorations, BBQ-style food, and fun costumes. Get ready to break out your bellbottoms, flapper dresses, and disco moves. Whatever your age, you don’t want to miss out on this fun, family-friendly event!

This summer has certainly been one to remember! We’re excited to say that our Backyard BBQ was a success! Nearly 300 friends, family, and residents came to enjoy delicious picnic food, games, and good company. Even better, we were able to raise money to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

While the party moved indoors due to extreme heat; (110 degrees isn’t exactly the best time to be outside!) it didn’t stop anyone from having fun! The people truly brought the entertainment! Spirits remained high, and everyone enjoyed eating and mingling in the comfort of our air-conditioned dining hall. Our staff members also loved showing our guests around our assisted living and memory care communities throughout the evening.

Thank you to all who attended; we were thrilled to be your hosts! Also, a big thank you to all our dedicated staff for working so hard to put this event together and for making sure everything ran smoothly. We could not have had such a successful evening without your efforts. From the food to the fellowship, a wonderful time was had by all.

Toy Donations During the Holiday Tour

Help us spread and share the holiday cheer by bringing an unwrapped toy to donate to the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation. For every toy you bring, Evergreen Senior Living will give one too. A one for one match; every donation matters! The mission of The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation is dedication to “providing comfort and distraction from painful procedures to children and teens undergoing treatment for cancer by giving a toy.” Learn more about the Treasure Chest Foundation now and how your donation will help a child celebrate the holidays with a bit more cheer.

We came, we walked, we conquered! Thank you to all the teams, walkers, donors, and sponsors for donating your time and money at the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. So far, over $165,000 has been raised to fight the disease! Although this year’s walk has passed, fundraising is still in full swing. As a team, Evergreen Senior Living has raised over $9,600, but it does not have to end there!

The annual walk is one of the most significant Alzheimer’s awareness events in the world and is held in more than 600 communities across the U.S. If you didn’t get a chance to participate at an event near you, don’t worry! You can still make a difference through a financial gift, which we promise will not go to waste. When you donate to the Alzheimer’s Association, you’re providing care and support for patients and loved ones worldwide through online message boards, in-person support groups, and a free 24/7 national helpline.In addition, the $405 million-dollar research toward treatment and prevention would not be possible if it weren’t for your generosity.
